Coaching For Remedial & Entry In Service
UGC Sponsored free Remedial Coaching for SC / ST / Minority Students is conducted y the College from the year 2008-2009. Fifteen students of Entry - In - Service scheme got selected in different Govt. And Semi Govt. Services. Apart from this many students have got services in different schools by clearing SSC Examination. Remedial Coaching is also opening the door of various opportunities to the reserve category students.
Eco Club : Interaction with the society
Garhbeta College has established the ECO Club to carry on friendship relation with the environment. Eco Club is very important as it established of focal point for all environmental sustainable activities and programme.
The purpose of the ECO Club is to engage students over various environmental awareness activities and to mobilise students towards scientific enquiry into environmental issues actively.
It should be the responsibility of the club to devise, run and monitor college wise activities, such as reducing, reusing and recycling programmes, energy saving schemes promotional events and also generating awareness of conservation of water by minimizing the use of water.
Eco Club will help to promote, monitor and operate the environmental activities of the college, however, the entire community needs to be involved in some capacity and more students along with the staff are expected to be involved in the programme of the club.
