Vision

The college envisions an enlightened and empowered young generation competent of spearheading and advancing the noble ideals of peace, democracy, secularism, social inclusion, gender equity and ecological consciousness. Through a progressive curriculum and excellent as well as congenial campus environment, youth forces are to be imparted with such comprehensive level of knowledge so that they can act as agents of transformation in a fast changing and volatile world. Thus, the college inspires students to devote themselves in the work of nation building, to concretize their knowledge with realistic view. It aspires to be a center of excellence at par with any reputed international institution where, irrespective of caste, creed or gender, students are encouraged to become intellectually active, emotionally balanced, socially committed and morally upright global citizens.

Mission

  1. Our mission is to impart value-based quality education that makes the students intellectually fit, socially committed and ecologically conscious.
  2. To enhance access to higher education to the students coming from the poor and Backward community of Bananchal based remote areas of the district of Paschim Medinipur, Bankura, Purulia and Hooghly of West
  3. To orient the students by providing them opportunities to face challenges of the competitive world with utmost utilization of their potential in academic, cultural and sports events. To inculcate high moral and ethical values amongst the students to make them responsible citizens and good human beings.
  4. To promote awareness on ecological and environmental issues by means of campaigning of awareness about the environment and for emphasizing upon the use of nature as remedy. We campaign and promote our medicinal garden and our mission is to eventually encourage the farmers to produce organic means of agriculture.
  5. To usher the students as well as the teachers into innovative research by organizing seminars, lectures and works hops by einhient persons of different.
  6. To provide well equipped laboratories, ICT enabled classrooms, friendly and green environment to help flourish the potential of the students in all axes like science, arts, commerce, sports and cultural.
  7. To provide higher education to those people who did not get opportunity to acquire it in time due to some social and financial obstacle through Netaji Subhas Open University Study Centre.

  6. To stimulate and inspire the students so that they develop an all-round personality and treat learning as a growth process, see industry in a wider perspective and accept opportunities of job in the field as a thrilling experience calling for resourcefulness, initiative and creative work.
  7. To provide opportunities to faculty members to update their knowledge, teaching and research skills.
  8. To provide in. frastructure and learning resources to all the departments.
