Objective
In any competitive examination, our students very often find it difficult to solve mathematical problems quickly. To overcome these difficulties, the Department of Mathematics, Garhbeta College is going to offer an add-on course on Competitive Mathematics: For the Beginners where the students will be taught simple mathematical tricks that will enable them in solving mathematical problems in lesser time in various competitive examinations.

- ✔ বিভাজ্যতা (Divisibility) - 1 hour
- ✔ গ সা গু ও ল সা গু (H. C. F. & L. C. M.) - 1 hour
- ✔ সরলীকরণ (Simplification) - 1 hour
- ✔ সেটতত্ত্ব (Set Theory) - 1 hour
- ✔ সমান্তর ও গুণোত্তর প্রগতি (A. P. & G. P.) - 2 hour

- ✔ সময় ও কার্য (Time & Work) - 2 hour
- ✔ নল ও চৌবাচ্চার অঙ্ক (Pipe & Sistern Tricks) - 2 hour
- ✔ সময় ও দূরত্ব (Time & distance Tricks) - 4 hour
- ✔ নৌকা ও স্রোত (Boat & Stream) - 2 hour
- ✔ শতকরা (Percentage) - 1 hour
- ✔ লাভ ও ক্ষতি (Profit & Loss) - 1 hour
- ✔ সরল সুদ ও চক্রবৃদ্ধি সুদ (Simple & Compound Interest) - 3 hour

- ✔ ক্যালেন্ডার (Calendar Tricks) - 2 hour

➤ Trigonometry (ত্রিকোণমিতি) (2 hours):
Assessment / Examination:
1. Step 1 – Written Examination
2. Step 2 – Viva-voce conducted by the college
Certification
After passing all the examinations listed above a student will be given a certificate from Garhbeta College.
