Objective
Financial system of any country plays an important role in promoting economic growth, thus development of that country. Stock market is important part of any financial system. India is no exception to that. Digital assets also are being popularized rapidly. Hence, a basic idea of it is necessary.
The objective of this course is to have a glimpse and basic understanding of stock market of India, its operation and the digital asset. Hence, students can be made aware of it. It would help them actively, efficiently & cautiously participate in it in near future and therefore can contribute in the process of economic growth, development and thus in nation building.

➤ Module 2: Securities & its types. Primary market & methods of issuing securities in the primary market : Next 3 hours
➤ Module 3: Listing of securities, trading and settlement procedures. Internet trading. Stock Exchanges of India. Stock market indices. Regulators: Next 8 hours
➤ Module 4: The Debt Market: Instruments-Primary & secondary segments for corporate debt. Primary & secondary segments for government securities : Next 5 hours
➤ Module 5: The Derivatives Market: Types of derivative-Forward, Futures & Options. Trading strategies : Next 5 hours
➤ Module 6: Digital Asset: Types. Block chain. Crypto currency : Next 5 hours
Assessment / Examination
MCQ Test at the end of the course.
Certification
The students will be given certificates from Garhbeta College after successful completion of the course. Their performances will be assessed through viva-voce, written and practical exams.
