Since 2022-2023, Garhbeta College is offering this specialized training program which is certified the College itself.
Course Duration
30 Hours
Objective

• To understand the interactions between living organisms and their environment, as well as the physical and chemical processes that shape the natural world.

• To identify and mitigate environmental hazards and develop strategies to reduce the impact of human activities on the environment.

• Promoting sustainable development.

• To inform policy decisions related to environmental protection, land use, and natural resource management.

• To increase awareness and understanding of environmental issues and promote environmentally responsible behaviour.
Curriculum for this Add-on Course
➤ Module 1 (10 hours):
- ✔ Introductory Class - 1 hour
- ✔ Green house and its effects - 1 hour
- ✔ Wildlife conservation (Importance, reason of extinction, methods of conservation, steps taken to save wildlife) - 2 hour
- ✔ Plastic pollution and Preventive measures - 3 hours
- ✔ Xenobiotics in our daily Life - 2 hours
- ✔ Pharmaceutical Pollution - 1 hour
➤ Module 2 (10 hours):
- ✔ Organic farming - 2 hours
- ✔ Bioremediation - 2 hours
- ✔ Water & water management - 2 hours
- ✔ Pollen, Pollination & allergen with emphasis with apiculture - 2 hours
- ✔ Biodiversity & conservation - 2 hour
➤ Module 3 (10 hours):
- ✔ Cancer as an outcome of Environmental hazards - 2 hour
- ✔ Environmental hazards and Digestive system - 2 hours
- ✔ Neurodegenerative diseases related to Environmental hazards - 2 hours
- ✔ Effect of Environmental hazards on human Respiratory system - 2 hours
- ✔ Mental health and environment - 2 hours
Assessment / Examination
Viva/test conducted by the college.
Certification
After passing all the examinations listed above a student will be given a certificate from Garhbeta College.
