Since 2023-2024, Garhbeta College is offering this specialized training program which is certified by the College itself.
Course Duration
33 Hours
Objective
- The course will help the students to understand characteristics of Santali language in grammatical terms.
- The course will give the students a basic concept of Ol Chiki script in terms of reading and writing.
- The course will teach our students how to speak Santali language with accurate pronunciation.
- At the end of the course the students will be able to have a basic knowledge of Santali language.
Curriculum for this Add-on Course
- ➤Unit 1: Introduction of Santali Language (3 hours)
- ➤Unit 2: Characteristics of Santali Language (4 hours)
- ➤1st Tutorial (1 hour)
- ➤Unit 3: Basic knowledge of Ol Chiki script (4 hours)
- ➤Unit 4: Reading and writing in Ol Chiki script (7 hours)
- ➤2nd Tutorial (1 hour)
- ➤Unit 5: Grammar (6 hours)
- ➤Unit 6: Vocabulary (5 hours)
- ➤Final Tutorial and Question & Answer Period (2 hours)
Assessment / Examination
Written examination and viva-voce
Certification
After passing all the examinations listed above a student will be given a certificate from Garhbeta College provided on his/her record of class attendance is satisfactory.
